Bus Transportation update

BPS is making it easier than ever to request bus transportation for your student for the next school year. We have replaced the previous Google Form with a new streamlined request form that takes just a few moments to complete. All families requesting transportation for next school year must complete this form in order to receive bus service. High Tech Updates Coming Soon...We are also preparing to roll out new routing software designed to improve accuracy and provide real-time benefits for families. Additional updates will be shared as these improvements are implemented for next year.

Schools Offer Support

Schools Offer Support (SOS) is a service organization in which parents and students work together to build a stronger community through acts of kindness. SOS has been able to fund and support a vast array of community needs. Some examples are:
  • Food boxes, gift cards and childcare support for financially challenged families during the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Tutoring programs for middle school and elementary students 
  • Thanksgiving dinners to dozens of families in need each year
  • Season of Giving helping families in need
  • Leaf raking for seniors in our community
  • Financial aid for those faced with sudden emergencies 
  • Barbara and Sheldon Weisberg Laptop scholarships awarded to select college-bound seniors annually

Registration at Groves is a 2 step process.

Step 1: Online RSVP Registration

Completion of this process will allow parent's and guardians to provide the most up to date parent contact, emergency contact, school agreements, and health information. Families should complete returning registration BEFORE attending in- person registration. Students will not be able to go through in-person registration if their RSVP online registration has not been completed. 

In order to pay any fees, we are once again using e-Funds for Schools. This program offers various options for parents/guardians who choose to make payments online or from their mobile devices. Users will have the ability to have various school fees/payments electronically withdrawn from a checking account or charged to a credit card. Please tab to the “Optional Fees” section for viewing. Print your receipt or email confirmation and bring it with you to registration. The e~Funds for School site is secure and uses industry standard data encryption.

Step 2: Student In-Person Registration

Completing Step One (online registration) is required for students before they attend in-person registration. During registration you will be able to; 

1.       Turn in completed Permission to Administer Medication Form (if applicable) to the main office.

2.       Turn in completed Open Lunch Forms (11th and 12th graders only)

3.       Obtain a locker assignment (Optional for freshman)

4.       Pay Optional Fees (if not using e-funds)

5.       School pictures will be taken at In-Person Registration. Please come photo appropriate for identification purposes. Our school photographer, School Pictures, will provide picture order forms or you can order pictures at SchoolPictures.com with a credit card. If prompted to supply an online code, use “AA02-“ and your student ID Number.

6.       Check out the school issued laptop. Textbooks will be issued through classes.

Freshman Registration : Thursday, Aug 20~  8:00am-11:00am

Sophomore Registration: Thursday, Aug 20~ 12:00pm -3:00pm

Senior Registration: Friday, Aug 21 ~ 8:00am -11:00am

Junior Registration: Friday Aug 21 ~ 12:00pm - 3:00pm
